The Triple Door presents Kris Delmhorst & Chris Pureka

Kris Delmhorst is an American songwriter, singer, instrumentalist, and producer. Over more than 25 years as an independent artist, she has built a body of work characterized by a wide-ranging, genre-agnostic curiosity and constant collaboration. In addition to nine critically acclaimed studio albums, she’s written songs and score for films and TV, produced albums for Session Americana and Jeremy Moses Curtis, contributed instrumentation and vocals to scores of other artists’ work, and performed thousands of shows across the US and Europe. Kris Delmhorst lives in western Massachusetts with her husband, the songwriter Jeffrey Foucault, and their daughter. https://www.krisdelmhorst.com/

“bold and brilliant” - Irish Times
“literate and allusive” - Boston Globe
“moody, euphoric and transcendent” - LA Times

It’s rare for an artist to bridge the divide between critical acclaim and dedicated fan engagement. Chris Pureka is a Portland-based singer-songwriter whose body of work has resonated deeply with these seemingly disparate milieus. Their music has straddled the folk, americana and indie rock genres over the course of their 20 year career, and over that time, their bold vulnerability in processing the intimacies of life in song has struck a chord with those listeners who crave authenticity and depth.

Chris’s elegant emotionality as a vocalist and their flair as a lyricist have garnered them favorable comparisons to Chan Marshall, Bruce Springsteen, and Patty Griffin. Over many years of touring on both sides of the Atlantic, they have shared the stage with such diverse and esteemed artists as The Lumineers, Gregory Alan Isakov, The Cowboy Junkies, Haley Heynderickx, and Ani DiFranco. They have had their songs featured on such television shows as Brothers and Sisters, Covert Affairs and Shameless and well as a song featured in the Sundance featured indie film, The Royal Road. Along the way, Chris has remained truly independent, selling nearly 50,000 albums through their own label, Sad Rabbit Records.

Masta Killa - Balance Tour

Masta Killa, one of the original members of the iconic Wu-Tang Clan & his DJ are in Seattle on his Balance Tour album release at The Rabbit Box Theatre for one night only!

"My hip hop name was given to me by the Clan. “Master Killer” is actually the name of a Shaw Brothers kung-fu movie. In it, the main character, who is not from Shaolin, studies Kung-Fu at Shaolin to go back and help his people who are oppressed by the government. I’m not actually from Shaolin, I’m from Brooklyn, but I went to Staten Island and learned the Wu-Tang style of rhyming, so my story kind of relates to the Master Killer story. Now, you hear the name ‘Masta Killa’ and it sounds violent, but it simply means to be a master of your craft. Kill doesn’t always mean something negative. When someone does something perfectly we say “He killed it.” That’s all I want to do. Each time I write a lyric or perform I want to be a master of my craft so I can make you to say I killed it." https://open.spotify.com/artist/0ME1RawvWt3qOJnYnxVqeh

Sign-ups will be the night of & the list fills up quickly, so if you want to perform, you’d better get there early…

If you’re going to perform, keep it under 5 MINUTES. That’s right: 5 MINUTES. WE WILL TIME YOU. And we will hug you when we have to stop you [just to make it easier on you (or harder – depending on your propensity for intimacy)].

Poetry, prose, music, dancing, comedy, drama, happy, sad, & on & on & on… Remember: EVERYTHING GOES… so do whatever you want.

You don’t have to perform anything; the audience is as essential as the performers.

Please don’t perform anything with a setup that takes much more time than the time it takes for you to walk onstage. Honestly, plugging things in is endlessly boring. If you need to borrow an instrument, figure it out before you’re called to the stage.

BLACK VIIOLET
is the new solo project of Nicole Laurenne (lead singer and founder of Alternative Tentacles all-girl garage punk band The Darts (US)). In Black Viiolet, Nicole steps away from her rock persona into a sultry, neosoul, vintage-jazz-inspired, triphop-tinged, spy-movie experience, invoking candlelit jazz clubs and back-alley speakeasies. Fronting the group on vocals and keys, Nicole is backed by top-tier jazz musicians on double bass, live drums over electronic beats, and a full horn section. In its first year of existence, Black Viiolet has released an EP (now in its second pressing) and an LP, toured Europe and the US several times, and garnered rave reviews from critics and broad airplay on both continents. "Open your ears to the unique, new view of vintage torch music from Black Viiolet and you may discover your new favorite singer.” - Abe Beeson, The New Cool, KNKX (Seattle).

Dracu has received many awards for his one-of-a-kind voice, songwriting and guitar-playing, but is also notoriously known for his opposition to the mainstream and his deep love for cultural awareness. No streaming, no trends, but real people and real shows. Dracu likes to get to know his crowd as he offers them a beautiful mixture of rock&soul music, handmade with no extras. Whereever the 32-year old guitar-slinger goes, he brings his bag of inspiring stories, his unmatched energyand presence to the stage.Raised by old Blues and Hardrock from the 70s, and modern Heavy-Metal of northern Europa alike,Dracu knows how to combine skill and feeling to make his songs accessible, no matter if one isyoung, old, a blues-lover or a headbanger. “Sure, I was a huge student of Jimi Hendrix, Muddy Waters or Deep Purple, but Turbonegro or Children of Bodom mean just as much to me. So this really is all natural for me. ” ~ Dracu

An Evening with Jesse Sykes

"I've always wanted to play The Rabbit Box since its inception some years back, as it's become my favorite music room in Seattle, so it's truly a joy to get to kick off our April tour supporting Black Mountain ( which begins in LA) at the magical Rabbit Box Theatre! A lot of love and vision went into creating such a wondrous space, tenderly and diligently carved out from the ghostly bones of dusty old Pike Place Market.  I sure do plan to conjure that world I used to know and love so well, when Pike Street and Pike Place truly was my world (in the 90s) and I learned from some of the best back then. Please come see what I learned;) - Jesse Sykkes

Doors 7pm - Music begins at 8pm

$20 adv. / $25 door : https://tickets.venuepilot.com/e/an-evening-with-jesse-sykes-2025-04-12-the-rabbit-box-theatre-seattle-0d60ce

Jesse Sykes And The Sweet Hereafter, is the result of the enduring musical alchemy between singer-songwriter Jesse Sykes and guitarist Phil Wandscher, which began in Seattle, Washington in 2001. Blending folk, blues, country, orchestral pop, and various psychedelic stylings, their sound culminates in what Jon Pareles from the New York Times once described as, “spellbound music, rapt in fatalism and sorrow.”

Known for her dusky, otherworldly vocals and lyrics that touch on the metaphysical, All Music added;  "whether the sonic setting is one of doomy distortion or fragile finger picking, Sykes remains a truly unique vocalist whose dusky voice is capable of imparting a transcendent, almost spiritual quality to almost any tune it touches."
In recent times Sykes and Wandscher often appear as a duo, or are joined onstage with bassist Bill Herzog, an original Sweet Hereafter member (and decades long member of seminal Northwest legends, Earth.)

The trio recently returned from Europe where they had the honor of supporting avant-garde doom purveyors Sunn O))), who Sykes, Herzog and Wandscher are also known for collaborating and performing with.
They are presently preparing the release of their 5th record, after a very long recording hiatus, and are thrilled to be heading out this April, back on tour, but are especially thrilled to be playing Seattle's beloved Rabbit Box Theatre.

For those who roamed the Seattle music scene in the early 2000s, Chris Stanley was a staple—a performer whose presence and talent resonated deeply with audiences. After a years-long hiatus dedicated to studying medicine in the wake of his mother’s passing, Chris cemented his return with the release of his self-titled EP last fall. Recorded at the legendary London Bridge Studio with producer Eric Lilavois, with contributions rom Andrew Joslyn of the Seattle Symphony and members of Heart, the EP quickly made waves across the U.S., France, and the UK, solidifying Stanley’s place in the realm of contemporary adultsongwriting. Chris has since reunited with that talented group for his latest single “Run” on Lotus Music Label and is set to release on all streaming platforms at midnight after his solo show here at The Rabbit Box Theatre!

Rae is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and producer combining pop sensibility with folk roots to tell intimate stories driven by evocative melodies. With a voice likened to Amy Winehouse and Brandi Carlile’s lovechild, Rae learned young to let nature animate her music, expressing themes of love, loss, and renewal through metaphors of the natural world, keeping empathy and self-awareness at the heart of every song.

$12 adv. / $15 door : https://tickets.venuepilot.com/e/quilts-abbey-blackwell-reverse-death-2025-04-24-the-rabbit-box-theatre-seattle-0d9e11

Quilts
are essentially Luke Webster and Kenaniah Bystrom who discovered their own kismet connection over a bond of having the same quilted blankets from their youth. On the heels of their Alien Wilderness EP that arrived in late 2019, the onset of the 2020 quarantine found the two developing the demos and sketches for their first full-length "Rocky's Ranch" on the Olympic Peninsula at Luke’s Aunt Rocky’s home where they honed in on a visceral sound full of earnest emotion and vulnerable heart. Their latest single, Entitled Peaches, dives into themes of systemic inequality, channeling raw emotion into a deep, urgent, and deeply personal sound. Quilts thrives in the balance of vulnerability and grit, crafting music that hums and shines without pretense. https://songsbyquilts.bandcamp.com/album/cowabunga

Primarily known as a bassist for groups like Grammy-nominated band Alvvays and Seattle surfers La Luz, Abbey Blackwell (Seattle) is focusing her energies on writing for solo guitar and voice. Under her name, she has released two full length albums and an EP as a solo artist in addition to her avant-garde instrumental trio Rae. Her songwriting calls back to the lyrical, hanging melodies of Sibylle Baier and Linda Perhacs, with angular, geometric chord progressions that lean in satisfying directions. https://abbeyraeblackwell.com/

Exploring the cosmic countryside between american-primitive and impressionism, Reverse Death slows down time on their moss laden debut, Stretching to Infinity. The group brings together garden hymnal oddments, and nocturnal lofi textures, to create a moonlit world of echoes bubbling up through a mineral rich past. Reverse Death was birthed in Seattle, WA by the songwriters of Swamp Meat, Baywitch, & Killer Ghost. Utilizing cello tonics, gentle feedback, crawling piano ascents, and orbiting melodies, this amalgam of earthy ingredients plucked for the infinite night. https://open.spotify.com/artist/0PnAQ8GfuGzWSCKzP57fBn?si=F3H_v8fjSFmQk83DND-bVQ

The setlist spans Aubele’s entire catalog, alongside new songs, creating a deeply emotional journey that resonates with themes of love, loss, struggle, and the search for meaning. Listeners are invited to reflect, relive cherished memories, and find personal connections through the raw beauty of his music."

Braly Sangster with Loose Wing & Keith Lowe

The Rabbit Box presents Braly Sangster, Loose Wing & Keith Lowe

Saturday, May 3rd - Doors 7pm / Music 8pm

$20 adv. / $25 door:https://tickets.venuepilot.com/e/braly-sangster-with-loose-wing-keith-lowe-2025-05-03-the-rabbit-box-theatre-seattle-e580d3

In the greatest duos, the dynamic between individuals generates a sound all its own. Voices and visions co-mingle completely, alchemizing into a union that transcends “complementary” or “contrasting.” While musician / producer Johnny Sangster and Pineola’s Leslie Braly are both established artists in their own right, the music they make as Braly Sangster owes everything to their chemistry. https://bralysangster.bandcamp.com/

Loose Wing is a Seattle-based indie rock band formed in 2019. Fronted by songwriter Claire Tucker, the band is known for its jangle-pop sound reminiscent of early R.E.M. and The Church. Their self-titled debut album was released in March 2022, and was praised by Rolling Stone for its "gritty take on indie pop" and "elegant incorporation of string accompaniment". https://loosewing.bandcamp.com/

Keith Lowe has over 40 years of performing experience on both electric and acoustic bass. He studied classically for 15 years and played in various orchestras before moving on to jazz and rock where he has toured and recorded with such artists as Fiona Apple, David Sylvian, Bill Frisell, Harold Budd, Wayne Horvitz and has been a member of the band BRAD since 2008. Since 2016 he has been a member of the orchestra for the legendary Teatro ZinZanni cirque and cabaret dinner theater. His diverse background and wide ranging and comprehensive approach to music has resulted in a tuneful, solid, and eclectic style that has him in demand both as a performer and studio musician. Keith recently released his first solo album entitled “The Other Half of Silence.” https://www.instagram.com/keith_lowe_bass/

The Triple Door presents Molly Lewis at The Rabbit Box on May 12, 2025

Some things are best left unsaid. But for Molly Lewis, they might be better whistled. In her wonderfully quirky world, lyrics are omitted and replaced with high-pitched chirps and trills. Across her debut album On the Lips, Lewis invites you to sit back and relax in her so-called Café Molly universe, where the music is as glittering and enticing as the romantic world it conjures up.  https://www.molly-lewis.com/

Lady Queen Paradise is a blending of sound. A fantasy: folk songs on theatrical grounds. Impassioned performance and a sky-scraping range, Lady Queen Paradise lives within winds of change. ladyqueenparadise.net

Claire Tucker is an eclectic Seattle-based singer-songwriter noted for her distinctive voice, evocative lyrics, and nuanced whammy-bar technique. She is perhaps marginally better known as the lead vocalist/guitarist/songwriter for Loose Wing. Her most recent album,  "Revelers" was released in the final weeks of 2024, too late for consideration for any best-of lists, but that's OK. She'll be accompanied by vocalist Billie Bloom (Von Wildenhaus, Stargazr), and Olie Eshleman (Corespondents, Annie Ford Band) on guitar and pedal steel. https://clairetuckersongs.com/home

Where’s Beth is a folk-pop artist who recently relocated from NYC and is endlessly fascinated with the magical and the mundane. Drawing on her work as a poet and professional ghostwriter, songwriter Sarabeth has been called “a master at storytelling” (Glasse Factory) writing songs that are “poetic and playful and grounded in experience” (Various Small Flames). Making “ethereal folk in the vein of Cassandra Jenkins and Julia Jacklin” (We All Want Someone To Shout For), Sarabeth’s melodic and lyrical tendencies recall her longtime influences Sufjan Stevens and Joni Mitchell. Where’s Beth has released two albums and now records from home in Seattle. https://www.wheresbethmusic.com/

"Madman Across The Water - The Music of Elton John"

"Madman Across The Water - The Music of Elton John" is a new project from Seattle-based artist Andrew Vait (SISTERS, The Little Lies).

The project will build on the energy and momentum of Vait's Fleetwood Mac tribute, The Little Lies, and, faithful to the mythos of Elton John, the show promises to be bigger and better in virtually every way.

Vait carefully chose the words to describe the project, emphasizing that the focus will be on interpreting and upholding the unrivaled craftsmanship in songwriting and stage performance that threads through Elton John’s legacy.

“Madman Across The Water” will honor the music of Elton John and is dedicated to the memory of Vait’s mother, who died in September of 2022 after a battle with cancer. Vait recalls listening to Elton John with his mom: “We would listen together and she would sing along while I learned the words.” The music instilled in Vait a deep sense of empathy and softness that has profoundly influenced his career as a performer and recording artist.

" Arthur James and Charles Wicklander Present: A Night of Tender Songs"

" Arthur James and Charles Wicklander Present: A Night of Tender Songs" featuring Miguel Escobar, Charles Wicklander, Kelsey Sprague, Arthur James and
Young Chhaylee on March 22nd at The Rabbit Box

Doors 6:30pm - Music begins at 7:30pm

$18 adv. / $20 door : https://tickets.venuepilot.com/e/arthur-james-and-charles-wicklander-present-a-night-of-tender-songs-2025-03-22-the-rabbit-box-theatre-81cdeb

Born in Riverside, California, the oldest child in a military family, Arthur James has been traveling all his life. His songs are the landmarks of his journey and they paint vivid landscapes of the many thousands of miles he’s seen in a struggle to find the meaning of ‘home’.
His lyricism lends to his patience and attention to the substance of every song, with nods to his influences, Gregory Alan Isakov, David Bazan, Beth Orton, Brandi Carlile, Dolores O'Riordan and John K. Samson.

From Seattle Washington, multi-instrumentalist Charles Wicklander combines psychedelic soundscapes with the wonders of the natural world, creating a uniquely cosmic experience. Wicklander released his debut solo record ‘Beyond the Evening Sun’ in June of 2022, weaving together mystic tapestries of experience and a wonder for nature and harmony. As a recording artist and live performer, Wicklander strives to incorporate his peers’ talents into his original music by featuring many of them on vocal harmonies, counter melodies, and instrumental solos, thereby shaping a collaborative musical landscape. With plans to release another solo record this year, Wicklander will continue to expand his circle, and channel this magical world around us through his music.

Young-Chhaylee is a singer/songwriter from The PNW. Elements of soul, pop, and folk have melded to create a sound that resonates from within. His voice is powerful yet flutters. Simultaneously strong and vulnerable.
Whether solo, duo, trio, or more, the energy of each performance is uniquely for that moment.

Miguel Escobar, Chicago-born concept artist interested in socially-conscious self-inquiry, slow deliberation, and sounds that make a big brown man feel beautiful.

Kelsey Sprague Band plays dream-folk, filling festivals, venues, and living rooms throughout the PNW.
Kelsey, backed by an all-star band, manages to convey something beautiful and simultaneously desperate. Through dreamy melodies and irresistible pop hooks drenched in rich harmonies, reverb and nostalgia, Kelsey tells stories of the many facets of the heart, deep and bittersweet, light and romantic, lulling and full are all ways to describe this Dream-folk Bedroom Pop delight. Influences range from more retro sounds like Connie Francis, The Beatles and Patsy Cline to more contemporary artists like Neko Case, Rilo Kiley, and Brandie Carlisle.

Dylan Hayes is a top called jazz pianist, composer and arranger originally from San Francisco and currently resides in Seattle, WA. He is 27 years old and began playing piano at age 7. After attending Marin School of the Arts for high school, he continued his studies at Cornish College of the Arts, from which he graduated from in 2019, and was able to study piano with Dawn Clement and Jovino Santos Neto as well as arranging with Jim Knapp. While attending Cornish, Jim Knapp handed over the Jim Knapp Orchestra book to Dylan Hayes and local legend Jay Thomas.

Dylan’s piano playing has brought him to share the stage with top tier musicians such as Benny Bennack III, Barry Stephenson, Jay Thomas, Johnaye Kendrick, Thomas Marrtiott, Christopher Brown and Chris Amberger. Dylan’s debut record “Songs For Rooms And People” was released on Blujazz Productions in March, 2020. His debut record is one of the top ten jazz albums of 2020 in The Seattle Times. A New York / Seattle based band that Dylan leads called “Meridian Odyssey” released a record titled "Second Wave" under Origin Records and was listed as one of the top fifteen best albums of 2021 in The Seattle Times. Meridian Odyssey’s sophomore release “Earthshine” received the Northwest Recording of The Year award in Earshot Jazz’s 2022 Golden Ear Awards. In 2023, Dylan received a commission to arrange one of Thomas Marriott’s compositions for The Carolina Philharmonic. The conductor was floored to hear an applause after the string soli that Dylan arranged, and said that he’d never seen an audience clap mid-way through a piece of arranged music in a classical setting before. Dylan was commissioned to arrange Julian Priester’s compositions for the Fellowship ‘Ceptet, which premiered at Dimitriou's Jazz Alley in 2023. He has also been commissioned to arrange for the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra and the Portland Composers Jazz Ensemble.

In 2024, Dylan toured and recorded a record in Europe, played in New York City, toured the West Coast and recorded four records of all original music; trio record, octet record, neo-soul / pop record with Vela The Band, and Meridian Odyssey’s third album. Dylan will be playing at the Havana Jazz Festival in January of 2025 with his band Vela The Band.

Zoser is a singer/songwriter and music bender whose music has no boundaries.  With a soulful voice, thoughtful lyrics, and a guitar, his music shifts seamlessly between pop, hip-hop, R&B, and folk. As an emerging Seattle artist, Zoser began playing guitar when he was just 10-years-old. By the age of 12, he began penning his own lyrics and performing to local audiences in his hometown of Augusta, Georgia.  He made his recording debut in 2019 with the EP release “Genesis” followed by the EP “Evolve” in 2020,  independently recorded and released.  Currently he is working on an album with Loosegroove Records, a Seattle based record label founded by Stone Gossard(of Pearl Jam) and Regan Hagar. Zoser has crafted a sound that is wholly and undeniably his own. The result is something spectacular to behold: a voice that conveys a world-weary ache and a bright optimism, and a sense of musicality that is both rhythmic and infectiously melodic. He is a singer, a storyteller and something of a revelation – not necessarily a soul singer but something rarer and more precious – a singer with soul. http://zoserofficial.com/

Gritty. Girly. Ansgty. Folky. Aimee Lefkowicz is a folk-rock songstress from the beautiful pacific northwest. Aimee combines her seattle indie folk roots with a 90s femme rock sound to tell stories through clever, thoughtful, and honest lyrics. She is inspired by the sounds of the pacific northwest trees, acoustic guitars, alanis morissette, long drives, taylor swift, diary entries, and so much more. https://www.aimeelefkowicz.com/

Star Anna is a singer/songwriter from the Pacific Northwest whose music blends the rootsy sound of country with the edgy emotional honesty of rock & roll. Star Anna was born Star Anna Constancia Krogstie Bamford in Ellensburg, a town in central Washington, in 1985. Star's mother was a music fan (Star recalls hearing the Indigo Girls a lot as a child) and at the age of 11 years old she began learning to play the drums. Not long after entering high school, Star began drumming with a local punk rock band, No Continuous Standing (the name was taken from a set of rules posted in the school gym), but when she turned 16 she walked away from percussion and started teaching herself to play guitar. Star began writing songs and before long she was performing acoustic shows at local coffeehouses; personal matters took her away from performing for two years, but she picked up the guitar again and refocused her music, embracing a more country-oriented sound.

The Triple Door presents Liz Longley and Max Gomez at The Rabbit Box

Doors at 6:30pm ~ Show begins at 7:30pm

$20 Advance // $25 Day of : https://tickets.thetripledoor.net/eventperformances.asp?evt=1170

Liz Longley is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter celebrated for her stop-you-in-your-tracks voice and deeply emotional music. Known for her distinctive blend of folk, pop, and Americana, Liz has earned accolades from prestigious songwriting competitions, including the BMI John Lennon Songwriting Scholarship Competition.

Her self-titled debut album was praised as “stunning” (HuffPost) and marked by “cleverness and wit” (Dallas Morning News). The follow-up, Weightless (2016), was lauded as “a thing of beauty” by Pop Dose. Liz’s sixth album, Funeral For My Past, became a notable success after her fans raised over $150,000 on Kickstarter to fund its independent release, making her the #4 most funded solo female musician in Kickstarter history. The album received widespread acclaim, with Forbes calling it “stunning” and Billboard highlighting its diverse range from Americana to shimmering pop anthems.

Becoming a mother in 2022 profoundly impacted Liz’s songwriting, infusing her music with greater depth and perspective. Her upcoming album reflects this new chapter in her life, showcasing both her personal growth and her continued evolution as an artist.

Singer/Songwriter Max Gomez grew up in Taos, New Mexico, where he fell under the influence of country blues early on and developed a songwriting style that was uniquely his. He received critical acclaim upon the release of his debut album Rule The World (2013, New West Records); and his subsequent EP, Me and Joe (2017, Brigadoon Records), contained a freshly minted classic, “Make It Me,” which has gained over 4 million listeners on Spotify alone.

As a budding performer, Max apprenticed in the rarefied musical micro-climate of northern New Mexico, where troubadours like Michael Martin Murphey and Ray Wylie Hubbard helped foster a Western folk sound both cosmic and country.

He has shared billing on hundreds of stages with stalwarts of the genre like James McMurtry, Buddy Miller, John Hiatt, Patty Griffin, Tommy James & The Shondells, Jeff Beck, and Johnny Depp. Judging by the company he keeps, Gomez is poised to emerge as a prominent voice of Americana’s next generation.  The forthcoming album, Memory Mountain, will release this summer. https://maxgomezmusic.com/

$75 adv. / $85 dos - GA - doors 7pm

Mary Lambert is not your typical multi-platinum artist. While studying Music Composition at Cornish College of the Arts, she found a home in the spoken word community of Seattle and began experimenting with infusing poetry into her music, performing as a cellist, singer-songwriter, and poet. Lambert received a call from Macklemore and Ryan Lewis to collaborate writing and singing the hook on their marriage equality anthem, “Same Love”. This led to an MTV VMA win, two Grammy nominations: Song of The Year and Album of The Year, and culminated in the iconic 2014 Grammys performance, which featured a mass wedding officiated by Queen Latifah and Lambert’s unforgettable duet with Madonna.

After the viral success of releasing a stand alone version of the song, “She Keeps Me Warm” Lambert signed to Capitol Records. She released Welcome to the Age of My Body, an EP with a re-release of the Top 20 hit “She Keeps Me Warm” and “Body Love”, a spoken-word piece about body image. Later that year, she debuted her first pop song: a tongue-in-cheek single, “Secrets", that went Gold and shot to No. 1 on the Billboard Dance charts, followed by her debut full-length album, Heart on My Sleeve.

Lambert received the Human Rights Campaign’s Visibility Award, The SAMHSA Special Recognition Award from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for her work on destigmatizing mental illness, and was invited to speak at the UN.
