Ball of Wax Audio Quarterly is a music compilation series founded in 2005 by Levi Fuller with the idea of shedding light on and creating a document of some of the wonderful music that was being made all around him. As always, everyone at the release show receives a copy of the newest volume. Ball of Wax 69 features 20 tracks made by different duos from Seattle, the Northwest, and beyond. https://ballofwax.bandcamp.com/
The sweet siren songs of Seattle’s new soul-pop singer-songwriter JNA (pronounced “Jen-Nuh”) brings back the vibe flow of days of when funky iconic women held seductive siege over adoring crowds in the sultriest, most diverse dance clubs. At the center of it all is that happily healing, astonishingly joyful, and strongly melodic voice.

The Lonely Coast (Valerie Holt & Anne Mathews) perform close-harmony duets, lullabies, and folk and traditional music from Europe and the Americas. They have performed on the Duwamish River, in the King County Library System, at the Arts in Nature Festival, as part of the Seattle Center's Next 50 celebration, and in the City of Seattle’s parks.

The Gabes is a duo consisting of Gabe McLeod-Kerr and Bryan Brophy. One may wonder why the band is named "The Gabes" when there is only one Gabe in the group. Well, Gabe and Bryan have been friends since they were kids in the early '90s, and they looked similar enough back then that one of Bryan's older brother's friends once mistook him for Gabe from behind. Since then, all of Bryan's brother's friends have jokingly called him Gabe.
