Recording Artist/Musician/Songwriter/Producer, Donnie Emerson who’s hit song “Baby” from his Dreamin’ Wild (Donnie & Joe) album, inspired the 2023 bio-pic drama movie Dreamin’ Wild, starring Oscar winner actor Casey Affleck (Manchester By The Sea) portraying Donnie Emerson. Donnie’s original songs have been placed in multiple movies, television, commercials nationally & worldwide. “Baby” has been interpolated, & covered by acclaimed recording artists: Ariel Pink, DāM-Funk, and John Legend.

Singer/Musician/Songwriter Nancy Sophia who is an accomplished conga, cajon, bongo, & hand percussionist has been performing on stage, writing, & recording in studios for most of her life. She also has an extensive background in musical theatre, film, & dance. Actress/Singer Zooey Deschanel (New Girl) portrays Nancy Sophia in the movie Dreamin’ Wild (2023).

For years Donnie Emerson w/ Nancy Sophia have toured & performed alongside each other. Their live performances consist of songs from Donnie‘s Dreamin’ Wild, and Still Dreamin’ Wild albums on Light In The Attic Records, plus new compositions they have written together, including “When A Dream Is Beautiful”, which they performed in the Dreamin’ Wild movie/soundtrack. The song was included in the 2024 Oscar Eligibility List for Best Original Song, produced by Grammy award winning music producer Dave Cobb (A Star Is Born, Elvis/movie) at RCA Studio A.
