Textures of Existence is a one-of-a-kind live music & poetry experience with a uniquely important mission. On July 5th, 2024, some of Seattle's most celebrated hip-hop, R&B & spoken word artists are coming together at the Rabbit Box Theater in downtown Seattle to raise funds for Palestinians in Gaza who urgently need our help. Town-favorite rappers Blake Anthony & Nobi are teaming up with R&B luminaries Dsrt Flwr & Anna Therese, along with spoken word poet Meysha & legendary Seattle MC, Producer & DJ Specswizard, to present a rare multimedia artistic experience centered on the transcendent power of language to shape & create our shared reality. All proceeds of this event are going towards the purchase of e-sim cards for Palestinians in Gaza so that they too can use the power of language to communicate, report, & coordinate with each other as they strive to stay alive & one day thrive beyond the oppression they've endured for far too long. All those who cannot attend the event are encouraged to still donate to & share the e-sim fund via the event website.
